OpenSSL SSL2 master key buffer overflow
| openssl-ssl2-masterkey-bo (9714) |
Description:
OpenSSL is vulnerable to a buffer overflow, caused by improper handling of SSL2 client master keys. By sending an overly long SSL2 client master key, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges or cause the system to crash.
