Linux tip flock() /var/log/acculog denial of service

Description:
The tip utility included with various Linux and open-source BSD distributions is vulnerable to a denial of service attack. A local attacker could create a file lock on the /var/log/acculog file or possibly other tip files to cause the tip utility to be prevented from communicating with serial devices.
