Description:

ArGoSoft Mail Server could allow a remote attacker to traverse directories on the Web server. A remote attacker could send a specially-crafted request containing "dot dot" sequences (/../) to the Webmail server to traverse directories and access arbitrary files on the server.

Platforms Affected:

  • ArGoSoft, ArGoSoft Mail Server Plus and Pro 1.8.1.5 and prior

Remedy:

Upgrade to the latest version of ArGoSoft Mail Server Plus or Pro (1.8.1.6 or later), available from the ArGoSoft Web site. See References.
