Description:

tinyproxy could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the system. A remote attacker could send malformed proxy requests to the server to cause allocated memory to be freed twice, which could lead to the execution of arbitrary code on the server.

Remedy:

Upgrade to the latest version of tinyproxy (1.5.0 or later), available from the tinyproxy Web page. See References.

Upgrade to the latest version of tinyproxy (1.4.3-2woody2 or later), as listed in DSA 145-1. See References.

For other distributions:
