Oracle ANSI outer join syntax in SQL queries can be used to bypass ACLs

Description:
Oracle9i Database Server could allow a remote attacker to bypass database restrictions. A remote attacker with limited database privileges could create a SQL query that uses the ANSI (American National Standards Institute) outer join syntax to gain unauthorized access to restricted data.

- Oracle, Database Server 9.0.1
Remedy:
Apply the patch for this vulnerability, as listed in Oracle Security Alert #33. See References.
