Description:

Abyss Web Server could allow a remote attacker to traverse directories outside of the Web root directory. A remote attacker can send a specially-crafted URL containing hexadecimal URL encoded "dot dot" sequences (in the form /%2e%2e/) to traverse directories outside of the Web root directory and download any file on the system. An attacker could use this vulnerability to obtain the administrative configuration file, which contains the administrative password in plaintext.
