Oracle Configurator DHTML UI text features cross-site scripting

Description:
Oracle Configurator is vulnerable to cross-site scripting. If the Oracle Configurator is using Text Features and the Dynamic HTML (DHTML) UI, a remote DHTML UI user can enter malicious HTML tags in the text box to execute JavaScript on the system.

- Oracle, Configurator 11.5.6.16.52
- Oracle, Configurator 11.5.7.17.31
Remedy:
Apply the appropriate patch for your Oracle Configurator, as listed in Oracle Security Alert #31. See References.
