AFTPD tilde (~) command could crash the daemon causing a core dump

Description:
AFTPD is vulnerable to a denial of service attack. If a remote attacker connects to the FTP server and issues a tilde (~) command, the attacker can cause the FTP daemon to crash and dump core. The core file could contain sensitive information, such as the FTP server's password file. This could allow a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to other user's accounts.
