Description:

BOOZT! is vulnerable to a buffer overflow in the Web administration tool. By sending a specially-crafted URL containing an overly long character string in the (name) field, a remote attacker can overflow a buffer and crash the program or execute arbitrary code on the server with privileges of the httpd process.

Upgrade to the latest version of Bootz! (0.9.9 Alpha or later), available from the Bootz Web site. See References.
