Description:
The Object Server program in IRIX operating systems could allow root access for both local and remote attackers.

Remedy:
For IRIX 5.0.x and 5.1.x:
Upgrade to the latest version of IRIX (5.2 or later), as listed in SGI Security Advisory 19960101-01-PX. See References.
