Linux kernel large ICMP citations memory leak
| linux-kernel-memory-leak (12223) |
Description:
Linux kernel could allow a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information, caused by a memory leak. The IP stack in Linux kernel improperly computes the size of an ICMP citation for ICMP errors. By sending a malformed IP packet, a remote attacker can cause a memory leak to occur, which would allow the attacker to obtain sensitive information.
