Description:
3Com OfficeConnect could allow a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information, caused by a memory leak. An attacker using a network sniffing tool could possibly view HTTP requests and recover sensitive information, such as IP addresses.
Platforms Affected:
- 3Com, OfficeConnect ADSL Router 812 1.1.7
- 3Com, OfficeConnect ADSL Router 812 1.1.9
Remedy:
For 3Com OfficeConnect ADSL 812:
Upgrade to the latest firmware version (1.1.9 or later), available from the 3Com Support Web site. See References.
