Description:
BEA WebLogic could allow a local attacker to obtain another user's JDBCConnectionPoolRuntimeMBean password. The weblogic.Admin utility, which is a command-line interface used to administer, configure, and monitor the WebLogic Server displays the password in plain text on the system's screen. A local attacker with a view of the screen could recover the password to gain unauthorized access to another user's WebLogic account.

Upgrade to Service Pack 2 or later and apply the CR104520_700sp2 patch, as listed in BEA Systems, Inc. Security Advisory BEA03-30.00. See References.
