Description:
Oracle Database Servers are vulnerable to a buffer overflow in the ORACLE.EXE binary, caused by improper bounds checking of user-supplied authentication information, if the client application does not place boundary limits on data sent to the server. By attempting to log into the server using an overly long username, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the server with elevated privileges.
