Description:
eSafe Gateway could allow a remote attacker to bypass content security mechanisms. If a remote attacker creates a compressed RAR file using WinRAR 3.11 or later, eSafe Gateway fails to decompress the file prior to scanning. This could allow a remote attacker to create RAR files that would bypass the content security mechanism and perform malicious activity on the affected system or on connected network resources, including possibly the execution of arbitrary code.
