Description:
DB4Web could allow a remote attacker to traverse directories on the Web server. A remote attacker could send a specially-crafted URL request to the db4web_c program to request any known file on the system, which would be displayed in the attacker's Web browser.

Remedy:

Apply Hotfix V3.4-BL27, available from the DB4Web Web site. See References.
