Description:
Hewlett-Packard (formerly Compaq) Tru64 UNIX is vulnerable to a denial of service attack, caused by a vulnerability regarding the handling of Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) packets. A remote attacker could potentially hijack ARP packets to create a denial of service against certain users.
Platforms Affected:

- Compaq, Tru64 5.0a
Remedy:
Apply the appropriate patch for your system, as listed in Compaq SECURITY BULLETIN SSRT-547. See References.
