Description:

Konqueror could transmit unencrypted cookies when a user is communicating with a secure site, caused by the failure to detect the "secure" flag in HTTP cookies. A remote attacker using a network sniffing tool could use this vulnerability to obtain a user's secure cookies, which could then be used to hijack a secure Web session or gain unauthorized access to accounts that use cookie-based authentication.

Upgrade to the latest version of KDE (3.0.3 or later), available from the K Desktop Environment (KDE) Web site. See References.
