Cisco VPN 3000 series concentrators disclose sensitive information in application layer banners
| cisco-vpn-banner-information (10020) |
Description:
Cisco VPN 3000 series concentrators could allow a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information in the application layer banners. A remote attacker could send an SSH (Secure Shell), FTP, or HTTP request to a vulnerable device, which could cause the concentrator to return sensitive information about the device in the response to the attacker. An attacker could then use this information to launch further attacks against the affected device.
