Vulnerability description

Microsoft Word is vulnerable to a buffer overflow, caused by an error when handling rich text data. By persuading a victim to open a specially-crafted RTF email message or file with Microsoft Office Word, a remote attacker overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the application to crash.
