One of the trick with these programs is how to get them to launch again the next time the computer is rebooted. The techniques are not that hard. The dropper will simply configure the registry or win.ini in order to launch the program at startup, much like how lots of existing programs are started. Also, the hacker can launch the program as "stealth", which simply means it won't show up in the "task list" that the user sees when pressing <ctrl-alt-del>. |
